Description:
This is a good antique Gustav Stickley
footstool from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn oak with an original
finish. It has excellent form and is pinned at the bottom. The stool
retains its original leather upholstery with a couple tears that will
need conservation. There are original pyramid tacks all around and the
stool is signed with a paper label as pictured. It is sturdy and strong
and is highly decorative and collectible.
