Description:
This is a good antique Gustav Stickley
single door china cabinet from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn oak
with an original finish with reddish color. It has distinctive and
desirable form featuring double exposed through tenons at the top and
bottom of the sides and double pins at the same locations. There is a
gallery on top and cutouts at the bottom. The door has individually
paned glass and an original hammered iron pull. It is signed with a red
decal and paper label. There are 3 fixed shelves and the original glass
has no cracks or chips. The wide single door does rub and stick, but it
is still very usable.
