Description:
This is a good antique L&JG Stickley 2 door
bookcase from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of very thick oak with an overcoated
finish. The bookcase has individually paned glass in the doors and has
three fixed, full width shelves. There are large, keyed through tenons
at the top and bottom of the sides and there are great hand hammered
copper pulls. The piece is unsigned but is L&JG Stickley model #645. It
is sturdy and strong and has very desirable and bulky form.
