Description:
This is a superb rare antique Lifetime
settle from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a
dark original finish. It has excellent form with slats all around,
exposed through tenons on the arms, corbels on the back posts, and 3
exposed through tenons on the front posts. The settle has a spring seat
with black upholstery with no wear. There is an excellent wide crest
rail at the back with superb quarter sawn figuring. The piece has
unusual form and is a great size.
