Description:
This is a superb antique Gustav Stickley
monk stool or small footstool from the early 1900s Mission and Arts &
Crafts period in excellent condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn
oak with an original finish. The stool has its original thick leather
upholstery that is till usable with some cracking but no holes and there
are all the original pyramid tacks all around. The stool is signed with
a brand on the foot. This is an excellent example of this form and is
very decorative and collectible.
