Description:
This is a nice antique Arts & Crafts
barrister bookcase from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period
in very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak
with a good finish. The piece has original pulls on the bottom and a
newer pull on the drop front. The lock face is missing but the piece is
otherwise complete including all interior drawers. There is a nice
footed base and a desirable drop front desk section on top. The bottom
bookcase sections hold 9" books. The piece has a unique look and is
highly decorative and usable.
