Description:
This is a good antique L&JG Stickley dining
table from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good
condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a great
original finish with superb color. The piece is model #717 and is a
great bulky form. The pedestal base has excellent thick feet and the
apron is very wide. The top is splined in several places and has a
shadow of "The work of... " white decal as pictured. We do not have any
leaves, but the table opens to 99" and leaves can be made to fit. There
are a couple very minor stable stress cracks in the legs that are not
structural in any way. The piece is very attractive and is a rarer form,
making it highly decorative and collectible.
