Description:
This is an unusual antique Arts & Crafts
large bookstand from the early 1900s Mission period in very good
condition. The piece is made of thick, solid oak with parts quarter sawn
with an excellent original finish. It has unusual form with a large
lower shelf and many keyed through tenons on the sides. There are
cutouts at the bottom and the top has an unusual shape. The piece is
heavy and sturdy and is highly unusual and decorative and would make a
great pottery display and bookstand.
