Description:
This is a superb rare antique Gustav
Stickley double costumer or coat rack from the early 1900's Mission and
Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition. The piece is made of good
quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish with great color. It
has superb form with large, exposed through tenons at the top and bottom
as well as very desirable shoe feet. It is pinned and the top has a nice
taper. The iron hardware is particularly excellent and has the original
patina and pyramid screws. This is a rare and collectible piece and is
model number 53.
