Description:
This is a nice antique Arts & Crafts rocker
from the early 1900s Mission period in very good condition. The piece is
made of superb quarter sawn oak with a good refinish. It has larger form
and has a nice slatted back and corbelled arms. It is heavy and sturdy
and is very well made. As you can see in the pictures, there are two
areas under the plank seat that had labels attached. The nails and
remnants of the paper labels are present, but we do not know who made
the piece. It is potentially by Stickley Brothers or Harden. In any case
it is highly decorative and usable.
