Description:
This is a superb antique Rookwood large art pottery vase from the early
1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition. The
piece has superb form with a grape vine theme and a dark blue, green,
and gray color scheme. It has a nice matte glaze and is signed with the
Rookwood symbol as well as the artist named William Hentschell. There is
a minor kiln kiss on the bottom as pictured. This occurs during the
firing process and is not a chip or flake. It was made circa 1911.
