Description:
This is a good antique Charles Stickley
large armchair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
very good condition. The piece is made of good quarter sawn oak with an
original finish with great color. The piece is very thick and heavy and
is a great, large size. There are wide arms with exposed through tenons
and supporting corbels. The piece is pinned all over. The back is
slatted and the crest rail is dipped. The seat has been recovered with
good dark green vinyl and has no wear. It is very decorative and
striking and is marked with a remnant as pictured.
