Description:
This is a superb early Victorian large
walnut sideboard from the mid to late 1800's in very good condition. The
piece is made of walnut and has excellent color including burled panels
on the doors and elsewhere. There is a great rust colored marble top
that is in excellent condition. There is a large mirror with a shelf
above that is supported by large corbels on the sides. The piece has
nice carvings including fruit at the top, carved handles, and a column
design on the sides. The original key is present that locks the cabinet
doors and the two drawers. The drawers have excellent hand cut dovetails.
The piece is extremely heavy and imposing and would make a very
impressive addition to your home.
