Description:
This is a nice antique Gustav Stickley sewing rocker from the early
1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition. The
piece is made of good quarter sawn oak with an original finish with an
overcoat. The seat has been recovered with leather with brass tacks and
has no wear. It is sturdy and strong and rocks well. The chair is pinned
at every joint and is very decorative and usable. The chair is not
signed but appears as model #305 1/2 in the 1910 Gustav Stickley
catalogue. The rocker matches the 306 1/2 chairs.
