Description:
This is a superb rare antique Gustav
Stickley bridal chest from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of exceptional quarter
sawn oak with an excellent original finish and great color. It is
extremely thick and heavy with a top over 1" thick. The piece is paneled
all around and has superb original hammered iron hardware with pyramid
screws. The chest is double pinned all over and is extremely well made.
It is marked with an early box-in-box red decal and is a rare form. This
is a highly collectible and decorative piece in unusually good
condition.
