Description:
This is a superb antique Gustav Stickley
large split pedestal dining table from the early 1900's Mission and Arts
& Crafts period in excellent condition. The piece is made of some of the
best quarter sawn oak we have ever seen with an excellent original
finish. It has very desirable form with an overhanging top and thick,
flared stretchers with exposed through tenons on the wide (3.5" x 3.5")
legs. The legs are pinned and the floating leg to support the leaves is
present. There are six new, quarter sawn oak leaves that match the table
very well. This is a rare, desirable, impressive piece in excellent
condition.
