Description:
This is a good antique Gustav Stickley 2 door bookcase from the early
1900's in very good condition. The piece is made of solid quarter sawn
oak with n original finish. It is extremely thick and heavy with boards
as much as 1.25" thick. The form is excellent featuring double exposed
through tenons at the top and bottom of the sides and a gallery on top.
The original hammered metal hardware is present and has an excellent
original patina. There are three fixed shelves on each side and the
doors have individually paned glass. It is signed with a paper label as
pictured. This piece is highly decorative and collectible and has no
damage.
