Description:
This is a superb rare antique Gustav Stickley mirrored vanity from the
early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.
The piece is a rare early design and is extremely thick and bulky with a
1" thick top. There is excellent quarter sawn oak with a cleaned
original finish. All hardware is original including the pulls, brass
candleholders and decorative brass screws to attach the mirror. The
kneehole has excellent corbels and the piece is pinned on the sides. The
legs have a slight taper and the sides are paneled. It is signed with a
paper label on the back. This is a rare and collectible piece that is
extremely striking.
