Description:
This is a superb antique Lifetime postcard
desk from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent
condition. The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with an
excellent original finish with great color. It has rare form with
slatted sides, extremely long corbels on the sides, and arches under the
drawer and on the sides. It has an unusual letter organizer with flip up
compartments suspended from the gallery. The single drawer has original
brass pulls and there is a Paine Furniture Co. metal tag inside (this is
the same company as Lifetime). This is a rare design and is in excellent
condition even with the minor stains on top.
