Description:
This is an antique Arts & Crafts footstool from the early 1900's Mission
period in very good condition. The piece is made of good quarter sawn
oak with an original finish with good color. The top has been
professionally recovered with high quality, hand rubbed leather with
cotton fill. The piece has an interesting design with a bowed top and
stretchers. It is signed with a Parkersburg Chair Co. from Parkersburg,
West Virginia. There is a minor chip on one leg visible on the bottom
right of the picture where the stool is lying on its side.
