Description:
This is a good antique Lifetime large armchair from the early 1900's in
very good condition. The piece has excellent, early, large, bulky form.
It is made of quarter sawn oak with an old refinish. The arms have
exposed through tenons and are pinned, have long corbels, and have thick
supports. The chair is pinned all over and is sturdy and strong. The
spring seat and back cushion have been recovered with leather some time
in the past. It is signed with partial Lifetime paper label as well as a
Paine Furniture Co. (Lifetime) metal tag and is also numbered. This is
an unusually large and heavy chair.
