This is a fantastic antique L&JG Stickley
large tilt top table from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in excellent condition. The piece is extremely large and imposing
and is made of the best thick, solid quarter sawn oak we have ever seen.
It has a great original finish with fine coloration. The table top flips
up to form a bench with a storage compartment. Four original large pegs
lock the table in place and 2 support it when in the raised position.
The bench section is pinned all over top and bottom as you can see in
the pictures. The 1" thick top is splined in more than 10 places. This
is an extremely rare and decorative piece in superb condition.
