Description:
This is a superb rare
antique Limbert turtle top table from the early period in the early
1900's. The piece has great construction with excellent cutouts on the
sides and a corbelled top where the corbels become keys for the through
tenon construction on the lower shelf. There is one blind drawer with
dovetailed construction. The piece has great color and excellent quarter
sawn oak throughout. The piece is unsigned but would have had the paper
label from Limbert's early period. It is very heavy and sturdy and
extremely decorative and collectible.
