Description:
This is a superb antique Gustav Stickley book stand from the early
1900's in excellent condition. The piece has excellent form with
fantastic quarter sawn oak and excellent construction. There are through
tenons on the top and bottom, cutouts on the top, and a nice arched
bottom front stretcher. There is a shadow of a decal and the stand is
model #79 and appears in the 1910 Gustav Stickley catalogue as pictured.
