Description:
This is a superb antique L&JG Stickley even
arm settle from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
excellent condition. The piece is made of fantastic quarter sawn oak
with an original finish with excellent color. The construction is great
with double pins all over top and bottom, wide slats all around, and
quadrilinear posts. The settle has a desirable even arm design and is
very sturdy and heavy. The piece has a new seat frame with cotton fill
over cotton webbing professionally covered in extremely high quality
leather. This is an exceptionally good looking piece with no damage and
is signed with the L&JG Stickley decal as pictured.
