Description:
This is an excellent antique L&JG
Stickley bookstand from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in excellent condition. The piece has the thick and bulky form
indicative of early pieces. It is made of good quarter sawn oak and has
great slatted sides with arched stretchers. The stand is very heavy and
sturdy and is a very decorative form. It is unsigned but appears as
model #46 in the L&JG Stickley catalogue reprints.
