Description:
This is a superb antique Gustav Stickley
magazine stand from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
excellent condition. The piece is a very recognizable form and has the
distinctive Tree of Life carvings on the sides. It is made of fantastic
quarter sawn oak with what looks like the original finish and has
original tacks holding strips of what may be original leather. The top
is corbelled and there are cutouts on the bottom. This is a very
desirable and rare form and is in excellent condition.
