Description:
This is a superb early Gustav Stickley
armchair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
excellent condition. The chair is signed with the 1901 red Gustav
Stickley decal and has its original rush seat in excellent, usable
condition. The piece is made of fantastic quarter sawn oak with an
excellent original finish with great color. The piece is very heavy and
bulky. The arms have an interesting angular shape and have pinned
corbels. This is a very rare and early piece in excellent condition.
