Description:
This is a superb antique
oak filing cabinet made by Weis in the Arts & Crafts period in the early
1900's. The cabinet has a very unique 2 stage design with 2 smaller
sections on top and 2 larger on the bottom. In total, the piece has 4
filing sections, 1 base, 1 desk, and 1 cap. The piece has great original
brass hardware and an original finish. The bottom drawers are
dovetailed. There is fantastic solid quarter sawn oak throughout with no
veneer. The piece is very unique and is in great condition--one of the
best we have seen.
