Description:
This is a stunning 9 piece
set of antique, period wicker furniture in very good, all original
condition. The set consists of 2 rockers, 1 armchair, 1 settle, 1 sofa
table, 1 end table, 1 floor lamp, 1 large table lamp, and 1 small table
lamp. All pieces are in very good condition with no significant damage.
The upholstery appears to be original and have virtually no wear except
some minor fading. The set has only minor wear from normal use. The
fabric lining the lamp shades is original but is deteriorating rapidly
as you can see in the pictures. It is easily replaced. The set is very
well made and the chairs and settle are extremely heavy. The seats are
all original spring cushions and the construction consists of a heavy
wood and metal base surrounded by wicker. This is a great rare set of
high quality, period wicker (not like the cheap flimsy pieces made more
recently) and great original condition.
