Description:
This is a good antique Stickley Brothers
slatted cubic armchair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in excellent condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter
sawn oak with a newer fumed finish. It is extremely thick and bulky with
2.5" square posts and it has great wide slats all around. It is signed
with a metal tag as pictured and the seat has been recovered with good
leather in the past. This is a rare and desirable form and is highly
decorative.
