Description:
This is a pair of very nice
antique Gustav Stickley arm rocking chairs from the early 1900's in very
good condition. The rockers share the same basic form with some
variances. Both have arms with the same shape and with corbels and
through tenons. One is pinned all over, the other is pinned only on the
back and arms. Both have great quarter sawn oak throughout. One has a
recovered cushion over cotton webbing, the other has a recovered
original spring seat. The lighter chair is signed, the darker chair is
not; however, we are sure both are Gustav Stickley pieces from the same
era.
