This is a great antique
Gustav Stickley U-back arm chair from the early 1900's in excellent
condition. The piece is pinned all over. The wide arms are corbelled and
have through tenons. The quarter sawn oak is great throughout. The
original finish is present with great color. There is a remnant of the
1901 Gustav Stickley decal in the box under one arm. The seat
underlayment has been rewoven using natural materials and the back and
seat cushions have been recovered with high quality, hand rubbed leather
over cotton fill. This is a really great looking piece as you can see
and is in rare excellent condition.
