Description:
This is a nice antique Victorian carved
hall chair from the early 1900's in very good condition. We think the
chair may be by Belter but we are not 100% certain. The chair has
excellent carvings all over and a particularly intricate back with nice
cutouts. It has original casters on the front and the upholstery has
been professionally redone with a needlepoint seat which has no wear.
The painting depicts the very chair we have for sale with it. It comes
in an original frame that has only one chip as pictured. The painting is
a primitive on a board and has a great antique look. This is a highly
unusual pair from the later 1800's in very good condition.
