Description:
This is an excellent antique wardrobe made by Limbert in the early
1900's in very good condition. The piece is model# 491 and is signed
with a brand as you can see in the picture. The finish is original and
the quarter sawn oak is really exceptional. The top and bottom have
through tenon construction. There are 4 side drawers, 1 large bottom
drawer, and 1 wardrobe with extending clothes hanger, and 1 cabinet with
an adjustable shelf and shoe cabinet? inside. The hardware is very
unique and original to the piece. It is pinned all over and and an
excellent thick back. there is quarter sawn oak even on the interior of
the piece. It is extremely heavy and sturdy. A really great piece.
