Description:
This is an unusual antique L&JG Stickley
Morris rocker from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
very good condition. The piece has good quarter sawn oak with a dark
original finish. It is double pinned all around and the arms have pinned
through tenons at the front and back. There are 4 back adjustment
settings with pegs. The seat and back cushion have been professionally
recovered by hand with high quality, hand rubbed leather with cotton
fill. It is sturdy and strong and we do not come across many Morris
rocking chairs.
