Description:
This is a superb rare antique L&JG Stickley
cube armchair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
excellent condition. The char is made of fantastic quarter sawn oak with
an good original finish with great color. It has very desirable almost
cubic form with wide slats all around and pinned joints. The chair is
heavy and bulky and has a bevel at the front seat rail. The upholstery,
including the original spring seat, has been professionally redone in
high quality, hand rubbed leather in a chocolate brown color. The chair
is signed with a brand is very decorative and collectible.
