Description:
This is a nice antique Stickley Brothers
slatted armchair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period
in very good condition. The piece has excellent quarter sawn oak with an
original dark finish. It has interesting form with three slats under the
arms and slight wing back form. The cushion has been recovered with good
black leather. The seat rails are slightly arched and the piece is
sturdy and strong. It is signed with a metal tag and a partial paper
label.
