Description:
This is a nice carved oak china cabinet
from the early 1900's in very good condition. The piece is made of
quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish with great color.
There are 3 fixed, removable shelves and the piece has the original
hardware and key. It sits on original casters and has original glass
with no cracks. The exterior is highlighted with applied wood carvings
in the shape of rope and the interior glass is lined with rope as well
(original on one side, replaced on the other). The gallery on top has
excellent applied carvings and the backs is well made with tongue in
groove construction. The piece is sturdy and strong and highly usable.
