Description:
This is a pair of superb antique Gustav
Stickley high back chairs from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in excellent condition. The chairs are made of superb quarter
sawn oak with their original finishes. They have unusual high back form
with spindles at the back and sides. They are pinned all over and
feature exposed through tenons at the top and bottom of the front
and back posts. The original spring seats have been professionally
recovered with high quality, hand rubbed leather. The pair is rare and
collectible and are signed with red decals. They are in excellent
condition with no damage and are very large, heavy, and sturdy.
