Description:
This is a superb antique quarter sawn oak
carved hall seat from the early 1900's in excellent condition. The piece
is made of highly figured quarter sawn oak with an excellent dark
original finish. The piece has a very large beveled glass mirror with no
damage and original brass hooks. The applied carvings are particularly
well done including a Northwind face at the top. There is a storage
compartment under the seat. The piece is very sturdy and strong and is
one of the nicer hall seats we have sold.
