Description:
This is a superb early Gustav Stickley library
table from the early 1900's in very good condition. This is a really
excellent piece is a very large and bulky form. The top leather has been
recovered with high quality leather. It has its original finish with
great color and fantastic quarter sawn oak. There are 3 dovetailed
drawers with original wrought iron hardware with early pyramid
fasteners. There is through tenon construction on the legs and bottom
stretchers and it pinned on the top and bottom. There are are a couple
chips on the top of the legs just under the table top that you can see
in the pictures. Besides this, the table is mint. It is signed with an
early large (2.5" high) red decal. This is a great rare collectible
piece.
