This is a nice antique Gustav Stickley writing
desk #709 from the early 1900's in very good condition. There is one large
middle drawer and 2 drawers on each side with early metal pulls. The sides and
back are paneled. The piece has great color and an old finish. The lock is
original, the desk is numbered 53. The piece is unmarked but can be seen on page
31 of "Stickley Craftsman Furniture Catalogs" by Peter Smith, however this one
has earlier metal pulls than the one pictured there. |
